9. What materials do you use to make your cosplays?
For Navi, everything was scavenged off of Amazon prime, the wig, the skirt, the crop top, the glitter, the ears, all of it. Wall-E however, was a lot more complicated. The overalls came from a discount store called Gabe's, and then I used fabric paint from Walmart to do paint on all the details. The wig, sweatshirt and binoculars were all from Amazon, but the paint was either fabric paint or acrylic paint to do the detailing. There was also a lot of elastic and hot glue.

10. Can you walk me through making one of your cosplays?
I started with finding the overalls for Wall-E which as stated above, came from a discount store. After that I had to paint on the chest plate, the straps, and the Wall-E logo down the leg. The yellow sweatshirt I wore came off of Amazon, and I again used black and white fabric paint to add the detailing on the sleeves. The hardest part was the binoculars. They were a pair of children binoculars I got off of amazon that were originally red with black spots to look like a lady bug. I had to cover those in multiple layers of silver paint, and then went in with a darker grey to put in smaller details. Once they were dry, I measured some 2 inch wide elastic and used hot glue to attach it to the sides of the binoculars. As much as I would have loved for them to sit on my head, they hung around my neck because it was much more comfortable. The final touch was the Buy n Large lunchbox, which I bought the red and white cooler from Walmart and then painted the buy n large logo onto.

11. Do you have any future cosplay plans?
Tamaki Amajiki from My Hero Academia! The full Sun Eater costume to be specific

12. What does cosplay mean to you and why do you cosplay?
Cosplay is a great way to have fun. I love arts and crafts and I love Halloween and I'm in a lot of fandoms, so it has been a fantastic way for me to mash up all three. It's also a great way of removing yourself from reality for a few hours and just being someone you're not. I'm not a little blue fairy, or a trash compacting robot, but cosplaying gives me a chance to pretend I'm not a college student under major stress.

13. What is your favorite part or aspect of cosplaying?
The joy that comes from creating a cosplay and being proud of it and excited to show it off whether other people get it or not.

14. Do you have a cosplay inspiration?
OddCatCosplay, Mythicaliity, and Bukkitbrown on TikTok.

15. Do you have any advice for aspiring cosplayers?
Don't be afraid to put yourself out there, good or bad. There are a lot of gatekeepers, but don't let them stop you. My first cosplay was a Homestuck cosplay and my horns were too heavy to actually reasonably wear, and my paint job was awful, but hey, everyone starts somewhere. Also, tutorial videos are everywhere and a blessing. Watch and learn, it's how you get better. (You know and practicing.)
